Unmerciful Servant

I can read Matthew 18:21-35 – sometimes called “The Parable of the Unmerciful Servant.”

It is a friendly reminder that God is such a great Master and he forgives all our sins.   So why would we not forgive in the same way.  Do we think our trespasses against us are so much greater then what we have done to our Father in heaven?   God is merciful and he sets this example so we should do the same.

If we do not worry about these things, God has a way of taking care of them for us.  We will not always see the consequences of someone else’s sin, but we don’t need to see their payment, we only need to see Jesus paid the price severely on the cross.

Lets rejoice in the fact that God has given us Grace.  Let’s give that same Grace to our family, friends and strangers we meet.
