Self-Awareness

Self-Awareness

Self-Awareness means spending time doing what you want to do and doing God’s work takes a back seat.

It doesn’t work well with God. He wants all of us and everything we have is because of him. I have not blogged much this week, because I play a game called Blast and two or three days this week – I choose my Bible and Blogging time to play the game. Hmmmmm – how does that work for me. Well immediate gratitfication playing games and less time with my best friend God. It puts a wedge between our relationship.

Hebrews 2:1-4

It’s crucial that we keep a firm grip on what we’ve heard so that we don’t drift off. If the old message delivered by the angels was valid and nobody got away with anything, do you think we can risk neglecting this latest message, this magnificent salvation? First of all, it was delivered in person by the Master, then accurately passed on to us by those who heard it from him. All the while God was validating it with gifts through the Holy Spirit, all sorts of signs and miracles, as he saw fit.

Let’s grab on and take that firm grip and spend time with our Father. He gives us everything and yet we cannot spare anytime to talk to him today???

My self-awareness today is that – I am spending less and less time with God and need to regroup.
