The Third Question

This question is not found in the scriptures, but Who does Jesus say that you are?

Jesus says we are a child of God.

A good father takes care of his children. He loves them. Jesus reminds us that God the Father love for each and every one of us.

God has worked throughout my life to show me he loves me. Even when I didn’t love myself – God wanted the best for me.

Jesus also says we are infinitely valuable. Luke 12:7 says God has counted and keeps track of every hair on our head. Jesus affirms God’s personal interest in each and everyone of us. Remember our value isn’t from what we do, but from who we are – a child of God.

Jesus says you are free. God loves us so much he gives us the freedom to even reject him. This world treats us like Slaves, but Jesus reminds us that we are set free, free from selfishness and sin.

If we can clear up the question of who Jesus is – then we can answer Who do you say he is? Then question 3 is very clear because you will be clear on who you are as well. Our true identity is tied directly to Jesus.

No Matter What Happens – God loves you.

Verse to Live: Galatians 1:10

Comment or question to consider – Do you value yourself anywhere near as much as Jesus values you?

Jesus thank you for revealing yourself to us. Thank you for all you have done and thank you for loving us even more than we love ourselves.
