Upside Down

Do you want your life Turned Upside Down. Jesus wants to turn your life upside down, which, as it turns out will be the right side up!!!!

Every aspect of your lives he wants to turn upside down. If you let him, you will live a happier life, with joy!

In many ways it is a new way to look at our priorities. This radical process transforms people’s lives. The story of Zacchaeus was a short story in Luke. Luke 19:1-10. He was proactive, he wanted to see Jesus, so he climbed a tree and Jesus called him down from the tree and invited himself to dinner at Zacchaeus’ house. No record of Jesus saying anything to Zacchaeus, but Zacchaeus was transformed and said on his own, “Look, half of my possessions, I will give to the poor; and if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I will pay back four times as much.” His own heart transformed him. Everyone approaches Jesus differently, remember in Luke 17:11-19 he cured 10 lepers, but only one came back with a grateful heart. Most radical transformation is the disciples.

On your Own, I ask you to read about Nicodemus, he met Jesus with more questions, and took personal risk when him and Joseph of Arimathea went to Pilate to ask for Jesus’ body. Something kept Nicodemus from giving his wholehearted embrace of Jesus,he worry about what others thought. We do know that he continued to seek the truth. We do not know if he became a Christian follower.

Each and everyone of us comes to Jesus in different ways. Some it takes a long time to come around, others are radical transformation. Remember Saul, he was the most famous of conversion stories. He hated Christians, yet he had a meting with Jesus that transformed his life. He became one of the most dedicated disciples of Jesus.

Jesus was a radical, and he wants to have a radical impact on our lives. The Gospel has impacted so many since Jesus walked the earth. If you open yourself up, you will be radically transformed too.

Point to Ponder: Be Open

Verse to Live: Psalm 51:10

Question to comment on or Consider: What’s preventing you from making yourself available to God?

Prayer: Jesus, I make myself 100 percent available to you today.

Amen.
